The ZUNFTHAUS ZUR WAAG with its 700-year-old history is located on Zurich's Münsterhof opposite the Fraumünster. Due to its location, the majestic blue house is a favourite gastronomic meeting place with all its possibilities to indulge in culinary delights at lunchtime or dinnertime. Whether in summer on the Münsterhof with the few tables on the terrace, or on the 1st floor in the à-la-carte restaurant as Zurich's living room with its famous Zürcher Geschnetzeltes and Butterrösti, as a signature dish of Zürich City or also at a family celebration in the historic rooms, in the Waagstübli or in the Zunftstube, or the large business dinner in the large guild hall - it remains a culinary discovery that gives great pleasure.
Zunfthaus zur Saffran
In the 18th century, the stately Zunfthaus zur Saffran was built on Limmatquai opposite Zurich's City Hall. It still stands today in its original stately form. In keeping with the tradition of the guilds, nothing was spared when furnishing the house. Today, as in the past, the event location in the middle of Zurich provides an exceptional setting for festivities for 20 to 250 people.
Be it aperitifs, birthday parties, weddings, business dinners, banquets, Christmas dinners, readings or auctions, the three exclusive rooms offer the right ambience for every event. In addition, regional delicacies paired with passionate hospitality.

The five-star superior hotel in the heart of Zurich consists of 9 time-honoured buildings. In 1357, the building at Rennweg 1 was
mentioned in the tax roll as "H. Widers Hus". This family name also carries over to the house and the GULD OF BUTCHERS, who met here from 1401. An elaborate renovation united the historical heritage with modern elements and result in a unrivalled synthesis of arts. The 49 rooms and suites as well as 4 luxury residences impress with their independence and elegance. The city-famous Widder Bar with the Widder Garden, as well as the two restaurants: the casual restaurant Boucherie AuGust and the fine dining Widder Restaurant, provide for the physical well-being.
Zunft zur Schiffleuten
The Storchen Zürich is a traditional five-star hotel with 64 stylishly elegant rooms and suites in the heart of the old city. The ZUNFTHAUS ZUR SCHMIDEN with its more than 600 years of history is the perfect location for private events and business occasions in the heart of Zurich's old town. The historical building, in which tradition and modernity merge in a perfect way, leaves nothing to be desired.
Our 3 halls - Zunftsaal, Zunftstube and Waserstube offer space for 20-190 guests seated and up to 250 guests for a standing cocktail. The Zunftsaal is the oldest - and for us the most beautiful - in the city of Zurich. Magnificently decorated with countless details from the 16th century.
